PERSIAN GUITAR MASTER

shahab tolouie (IRn)

Iranian fusion trio

Excellent performance, originality as well as virtuosity of each member of the trio takes the audience to an exciting journey from the Caspian Sea to Persian Gulf and through the entire Mediterranean to Spain. The unique triple-neck FuseTar (a symbiosis of Oud, Flamenco guitar & Persian Setar), accompanied by Jan’s funky grooves of semi-acoustic fretless bass and Habib’s mastership on percussions forms a strong rhythmical and melodic ground for Shahab’s dynamic contemporary voice and Habib’s south Iranian mystical vocals to create a moment for the listener to remember.
